ISS Splits the Moon and Mars Tonight

There will be a bright pass by the International Space Station this evening between 8:35 PM and 8:42 PM. Observers in the Cataula, Hamilton, and Pine Mountain areas will see the ISS pass between the moon and Mars between 8:38 PM and 8:39 PM. The forecast calls for 50% cloud cover around this time so hopefully it will be clear enough to see this.

This simulation from the Stellarium planetarium program shows what the pass will look like thru a 100mm lens attached to a full frame DSLR.
